Schizo by Nic Sheff

Schizo by Nic Sheff is a YA contemporary book about a boy who experiences a psychotic break and is diagnosed with with schizophrenia following a traumatic event in the MC's life.
Throughout this book, you get an inside perspective on dealing with schizophrenia.  

Though this was a story that I enjoyed reading, I would have liked to see more of how the illness manifests and some more psychological explanations.  The ending has a bit of a twist which made the story more interesting. 

I gave this book 3/5 🌟🌟🌟
There are some trigger warnings in this book. So be mindful if you are triggered by mental breakdown and things of the sort.

Updates, November reading, and End of Year reading plans

Its been a hot minute since I've posted here. A lot has happened in my personal life, but we aren't here for that. Let's get to my December TBR, shall we? Winter time usually means Historical Fiction, and Fantasy books for me. November was all over the place and I have been in a slight reading slump. I can't seem to get invested in the books I pick up recently. I participated in 'Non-Fiction November', and started the month off strong, but dwindled as the month progressed. I am currently reading a poetry collection by Lawrence Ferlinghetti called A Coney Island Of The Mind.  and I am going to attempt to begin The Book Thief  by Markus Zuzak as well as Everything I Never Told You  by Celeste Ng. I managed to read 8 things in the month of November.
