1. Best Book You've Read So Far in 2017?
This is a no brainier for me. We Are The Ants by Shaun David Hutchinson. This book has been on my radar for some time and I am so glad that I finally got to read it. Its got a little bit of everything in it. Dealing with grief and suicide and mental illness and bullying and aliens and family...its just amazing.
2. Best Sequel You've Read So Far in 2017?
The best sequel I've probably read this year so far is Cress by Marissa Meyer.
3. New Release You Haven't Read Yet, But Need To?:
Sleeping Giants by Sylvain Neuvel.
I've been wanting to read this for a while. I have been getting more and more into sci-fi. This book has been getting great reviews and I'm excited to start this series. 👽

4. Most Anticipated Release For Second Half of 2017?
This would have to be Artimis by Andy Weir. I loved The Martian and I am super excited to read another novel by him!
5. Biggest Disappointment so far?:
The book that disappointed me most so far this year would have to be The Bone Witch by Rin Chupeco.
I was so excited to read this book. I bought it relatively close to release date. I got a little less than half way through it and I had no idea what I had just read. I didn't understand the world or the magic system...everything had different names and there was no explanation of who and what these characters were. It was all in all a fail. It had a great premise but just a bad execution. I DNF'd this book and it was painful to do so.

Jack and Jill From:
Every Heart A Doorway by Seanan McGuire. I loved how their characters interacted with each other as well as everyone else. I love their back story and cannot wait to read the next installment in The Wayward Children series!💀👻
10. Book That Made You Cry?
None really made me cry but A Monster Calls by Patrick Ness brought me very close. That book, go read it!.....enough said.
11. Book That Made You Happy?
This was a harder one to figure out because I don't typically reach for "feel good" books. But, I Picked:

Everything Leads To You by Nina LaCour. It is the story of a F/F romance that blossoms out of a mystery/tragedy. It's cute and fluffy but has some serious base topics as well. I thought it had a great balance.
12. Favourite Book To Movie Adaptation You Saw This Year?
I did not see a BTM adaptation thus far this year. I did watch Thirteen Reasons Why which was adapted from Jay Asher's book. I thought that series was poorly done and glorified suicide. 👎
