Milk and Honey by Rupi Kaur (Review)

This is a poetry collection comprised into four separate sections. The author touches on several subjects, such as, grief, love, longing, rape, fear, sadness, and healing.

This poetry collection spoke directly to my soul. So beautifully written. It's simplistic layout makes it that much better. I have dived into other poetry collections as a result of reading Milk and Honey.
Honestly, one of the best modern poets of our time!

Updates, November reading, and End of Year reading plans

Its been a hot minute since I've posted here. A lot has happened in my personal life, but we aren't here for that. Let's get to my December TBR, shall we? Winter time usually means Historical Fiction, and Fantasy books for me. November was all over the place and I have been in a slight reading slump. I can't seem to get invested in the books I pick up recently. I participated in 'Non-Fiction November', and started the month off strong, but dwindled as the month progressed. I am currently reading a poetry collection by Lawrence Ferlinghetti called A Coney Island Of The Mind.  and I am going to attempt to begin The Book Thief  by Markus Zuzak as well as Everything I Never Told You  by Celeste Ng. I managed to read 8 things in the month of November.
