Cress by Marissa Meyer

Cress by Marissa Meyer is a sci-fi retelling of Rupunzel and the third book in The Lunar Chronicles series.
This was a hefty book lol. 550 pages.
This follows Cinder, Scarlet, Wolf, and now Cress.
Cress is a lunar who lives aboard a small satellite and is controlled by a mistress who works for Queen Lavana.
Cress becomes entangled with the squad while trying to find a way out of her tiny ship and into the heart of Captain Thorne (it's rather cute!)
Cress becomes a pivotal character to the mission the Cinder started. (To Overthrow Queen Levana.)

I absolutely loved this book! It's my favorite in the series so far!

Born To Love, Cursed To Feel by Samantha King is a debut poetry collection about Love and everything that comes along with it. She writes about being cheated on, left, being in toxic relationships. ..etc. She does touch on the positives of being in a relationship as well. Poetry has always been a love of mine. I have recently just started to dive into some current poets, and I am loving it. Samantha King's writing is very relatable. (Dissappointing) August 2018 Wrap-Up

I had a shitty reading month in August. I managed to get through 3 books.  First I read: This is a non-fiction about a man's search for information on his biological parents, and stumbles into proof that his father was the notorious Zodiac Killer from Northern California who operated in the 1960's and 1970's.  (4/5 Stars)✮✮✮✮ Next I read: I won this book in a giveaway on Twitter from the author. It is a fast paced fiction in which a man who suffers from a psychotic break, due to the deaths of his wife and daughter, finds himself driving a car that he has no memory of getting into. And worse, there's a girl in the car that he apparently kidnapped, and he has no memory of that either. The girl that's with him starts to help him piece together bits of events that have led up to their current situation.
