Our Chemical Hearts by Krystal Sutherland *review*


This book follows two main characters, Henry and Grace.
Henry is a senior in highschool, just appointed to Editor of his school newspaper, when one day, Grace walks into his classroom. She is unkempt, wearing oversized men's clothes and has a pronounced limp. Henry, almost immediately becomes facinated with Grace and when she agrees to be co-editor of the Newspaper at school, Henry gets the opportunity to get to know her. This story is one of teenage love, tragedy, grieving, and how to move on.
4.5/5 stars on Goodreads for me. This is in my top ten favorite books of 2016. Beautifully written, excellent debut Novel!

Updates, November reading, and End of Year reading plans

Its been a hot minute since I've posted here. A lot has happened in my personal life, but we aren't here for that. Let's get to my December TBR, shall we? Winter time usually means Historical Fiction, and Fantasy books for me. November was all over the place and I have been in a slight reading slump. I can't seem to get invested in the books I pick up recently. I participated in 'Non-Fiction November', and started the month off strong, but dwindled as the month progressed. I am currently reading a poetry collection by Lawrence Ferlinghetti called A Coney Island Of The Mind.  and I am going to attempt to begin The Book Thief  by Markus Zuzak as well as Everything I Never Told You  by Celeste Ng. I managed to read 8 things in the month of November.
