I am currently working my way through 2 books going into the weekend.
Waking Gods Book 2 of the Themis Files by Sylvain Neuvel. 
This is the second book of a science fiction series where Humans have discovered a giant Alien Robot that they have determined to be a weapon of some sort for a potential alien invasion. 
This second book picks up 10 years later after the ending in book 1. A large robot has appeared in the middle of a London park, and they must now determine why this new robot has come, and what to do if it should be deemed dangerous. 

I love this series and I will definitely be picking up the third book in this series. I'm about 60% finished with this book as I'm typing this, so I should be able to finish it this weekend. 

The other book, I have just started. 
I Stop Somewhere by T.E. Carter

I am only about 10 pages or so into this book, but from what I understand, this is a darker YA contemporary that deals with some heavy topics.

-Assault
-Depression
-Bullying
 That is my Weekend Reads list...I'm hoping to be able to read and finish these both.

So far I have been able to knock a few emojis off of the Emoji-a-thon TBR that I set for myself. Updates, November reading, and End of Year reading plans

Its been a hot minute since I've posted here. A lot has happened in my personal life, but we aren't here for that. Let's get to my December TBR, shall we? Winter time usually means Historical Fiction, and Fantasy books for me. November was all over the place and I have been in a slight reading slump. I can't seem to get invested in the books I pick up recently. I participated in 'Non-Fiction November', and started the month off strong, but dwindled as the month progressed. I am currently reading a poetry collection by Lawrence Ferlinghetti called A Coney Island Of The Mind.  and I am going to attempt to begin The Book Thief  by Markus Zuzak as well as Everything I Never Told You  by Celeste Ng. I managed to read 8 things in the month of November. A Children's book- The Wonky Donkey  by Craig Smith, Illustrated by Katz Cowley If I Should Die Before I Wake  by Nolan Han Matchless  by Gregory Maguire Girl, Interrupted  by Susanna Kaysen
