My October TBR is probably going to be a little more ambitious than in previous months. This is my favorite time of year and I love the chill in the air and the colors and just the atmosphere of Autumn, Lets start with what I am currently reading and hope to finish in October. 1. The Virgin Suicides  by Jeffery Eugenides Synopsis HERE   2. Valley Of The Dolls  by Jacqueline Susann Synopsis HERE 3. Geek Love  by Katherine Dunn Synopsis HERE 4. Siege And Storm  by Leigh Bardugo Synopsis HERE These four are my priority at the moment. If I am able to complete them, I have three more that I would like to get into. One is a re-read for me and it is one of my all time favorite books. It is a group of Short Stories by one of my favorite Authors. That is: The October Country  by Ray Bradbury Synopsis HERE Also, I'd like to read: The Roanoke Girls  by Amy Engel Synopsis HERE And Lastly,  Final Girls ...

Reading Slumps/General Updates

I have only managed to complete two books this month. I have four books open and in progress and yet, I am sitting here typing instead of reading, lol. The books that I am currently reading are good thus far, and I am anxious to keep reading them. October is my favorite month of the year and I am anticipating that my reading will pick up. I thought that by participating in a reading challenge may help me stay focused, but it added to my stress level because I wasn't able to complete my TBR for Sci-Fi September. The books I managed to finish in the month of September are: The Serpent King  by Jeff Zenter (5 Stars) The Long Way To A Small Angry Planet  by Becky Chambers (3.5 stars) Reviews for both of these books will be coming soon.  Thanks for reading!!!

Favorite color and do you have the book in that color? My favorite color is black. And yes I have plenty of black books. I think the prettiest black book i own is The 50th Anniversary Edition of Valley of the Dolls  by Jacqueline Susann Describe yourself in 3 book characters. Coraline Jones from Coraline by Neil Gaiman Jack from Every Heart a Doorway by Seanan McGuire and finally, Susanna Kaysen from Girl, Interrupted by Susanna Kaysen  Hyped books yay or nay? If yay, what was the most hyped book you ever read? If nay, what was the most hyped book you decided not to read? Unfortunately,  I do tend to read hyped books. I think the book that I have read with the most hype was A Court of Thorns and Roses by Sarah J. Maas.  Recommend one book per season. Spring. Summer. Fall. Winter. Spring: Alice In Wonderland by Lewis Carroll Summer: The Girls by Emma Cline Fall: The October Country by Ray Bradbury  Winter: Between Shades of Grey by Ruta Sepet...
